How-To Geek's Sydney Butler works through four jobs people routinely buy separate Android apps for, and finds each one already living inside Google Drive. Create new, then Scan, turns the camera into a document scanner that adds pages one after another, and on newer phones it detects and captures each page as you turn it. Tapping a PDF and choosing the pen icon opens pen and highlighter tools with color choices and a comment function, which is also how a signature reaches a form without printing, signing, and rescanning it. Butler's own caveat is that Docs, Sheets, and Slides, marked for offline access before the signal drops, are stripped down next to Microsoft's apps, though he argues most people never reach the missing parts.
