Raycast's keyboard launcher now runs on Windows, and the free plan covers clipboard history, snippets, and window management
A launcher you drive from the keyboard is the rare productivity habit that pays you back every working day.
Raycast began as a macOS launcher, and its own Windows page now lists version 2.1.2.0 for Windows 10 21H2 and later and for Windows 11, installable through WinGet. The published pricing page puts clipboard history, quicklinks, the calculator, snippets, window management, and thousands of extensions in the free plan, and reserves Raycast AI for Pro at $10 a month, or $8 a month billed annually. Writing at XDA, Patrick Hearn describes the daily shape of it: a hotkey and a few letters to open a file or an app, four modifier keys mapped into a single hyperkey, repeated text expanded through Snippets, and email, Asana, or Slack one keystroke away. He is straight about the cost of entry, since the shortcuts have to be memorized before they pay, and many popular extensions are still macOS only after the recent move to Windows.
