Raycast 2.0 puts a launcher, clipboard history, snippets, and window management behind one keystroke
One shortcut absorbs the app switching, clipboard hunting, and window dragging you repeat a hundred times a day.
Raycast calls itself a collection of productivity tools inside an extendable launcher, and the 2.0 release rebuilt that foundation around AI that can act across apps, built-in automation for recurring tasks, and a Projects view for ongoing work; you can connect your own ChatGPT or Claude subscription rather than buy another one. The free plan carries the parts most people reach for daily: clipboard history, quicklinks, snippets, a calculator, window management, and access to thousands of extensions. Windows is no longer a promise: the app is available now for Windows 10 (21H2 or newer) and Windows 11 from the Microsoft Store, alongside the Mac and iOS versions. Pro runs $10 a month or $96 a year and adds Raycast AI credits, unlimited clipboard history, cloud sync, dictation, and a translator.
