Memory demand turned a chipmaker's balance sheet into one of the largest numbers of the year.
Micron reported fiscal fourth-quarter revenue of $54.23 billion on September 30, up from $41.46 billion in the prior quarter and $11.32 billion a year earlier, with non-GAAP gross margin of 87.0 percent and non-GAAP earnings of $33.42 per diluted share. Full-year revenue reached $133.19 billion against $37.38 billion in fiscal 2025, a 256 percent increase, and non-GAAP earnings per share came in at $75.52. For the fiscal first quarter the company guided to revenue of $61.5 billion, plus or minus $1.5 billion, with non-GAAP gross margin near 86.25 percent. Chairman and chief executive Sanjay Mehrotra said Micron delivered record fiscal 2026 results and expects an even stronger fiscal 2027.
Scripture for Reflection
“Instruct those who are rich in the present age not to be conceited and not to put their hope in the uncertainty of wealth, but in God, who richly provides all things for us to enjoy.”
Numbers this large invite us to hold our own hopes loosely and rest them somewhere steadier than a balance sheet.
