Webb finds evidence of an atmosphere on a lava world that circles its star in a day

Unexpected air HD 3167 b, a rocky super-Earth 154 light-years away in Pisces, showed a dayside cooler than predicted during secondary eclipse, which lead author Brandon Park Coy and colleagues at the University of Chicago read as heat being spread by an atmosphere.

Stanford molecule turns a lymphoma-driving protein into a kill switch in mice

Driver reversed The compound TCIP3 links the lymphoma-promoting protein BCL6 to the acetyltransferases P300 and CBP, and in mice with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma the treated tumors were completely gone by day 11, Stanford Medicine researchers reported in Cell.

UCSF team builds cancer-fighting CAR-T cells inside the body rather than in a lab

Physicists find electron pairs rippling in a material before it turns superconducting
